tonight we went with my sister and her family to the victorian christmas in thomasville for the first time. the buzz of christmas was in the air, and i couldn’t get enough of the lighted streets and 1800s store fronts. my favorite shop we visited was the bookshelf. they had so many fun things for sale (though the prices were less fun) that are not at normal stores, including the children’s counting books of the classics that i need! and of course my second favorite shop was an antique store, i’m a sucker for milk glass and salt and pepper shakers. thankfully the kids didn’t want to stand in line to see santa so they rode the train instead. poor little e didn’t want to get off when the ride was over. brett came straight from work so we got to ride back together. happy 12 days till christmas!

This looks awesome! I want to go there now! Those little shops are so cute!
It looks so magical! I have never heard of them doing that up there. I love it!
